We´re working harder and longer than ever before and sometimes we need a break.
Every now and then we all need a change of scenery and we need it for longer than the usual one solitary week of holiday each year. A grown up gap year is an opportunity to do just that. A way of stepping out of the routine of ordinary life, whether it be for a few weeks, months, or even years!
It´s a way of taking that extended break or career change you´ve always dreamed of and spending time trying something different whilst taking stock on where you´ve been and where you are going.

We´ve spent the last few years travelling the world and hand picking a selection of truly unique experiences in incredible parts of the world. We´re now bringing these experiences to you and a chance to create your very own grown up gap year.
WHAT´S IN YOUR GAP YEAR?
Time is precious.
Whether you can afford to take 3 weeks, 3 months or even 3 years, we are confident we can create you your very own grown up gap year. Here´s your once in a lifetime chance to spend time doing something different, something you enjoy. Learn the language, linger longer in the local culture, write a novel, get fit or just soak up some sun.
Be it a hill top Tuscan town, a white washed village in the mountains of southern Spain, or your own place in Paris, we work to ensure that your precious time off is best spent.
Each experience is based on a commitment of 4 to 5 hours work a day, 5 days a week, in exchange for board and lodgings. The rest of that precious time is then all yours to shape as you have always dreamed of doing.

MOUNTAIN VILLAGE LIFE IN THE SPANISH SIERRA
Where the sierra meets the sea…the Alpujarras are a remote and largely untouched part of Spain, where the donkey still just about rules the roads. Here on the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range lies the tiny village of Mairena.
Join some of our favourite people and help them run their remote little guesthouse full of hiking, yoga and foodie fun.

This experience offers you the chance to really integrate into the beautiful landscapes of Tuscany as part of an artist retreat. We work with an award winning photographer and artist who runs painting and yoga retreats in this most beautiful corner of the world.
